I don't have any, but this is what I ordered. When I asked the question, I was having a hard time finding the right version of the tape. I will say, for a $2000 product, the instructions are trash. I haven't unwrapped the tank yet, but I expect much better for a product this expensive.
Yeah I agree completely. Directions were terrible and be sure and take your time with the hole drill and bolt install on the front left. I had issues getting the little J nut installed and managed to disconnect a brake line. No wonder they didn’t cover that part in the video or instructions!

Any fuel rated tape will worth for those two threaded fittings. Yellow or blie tape

I agree instruction/video is trash but will help a little. Was wondering if you had any other tips for the install? I plan on doing this in the driveway at my buddies house in the next few weeks thanks in advance for any response.

I did a driveway install also.

1) use some wood blocks to get the tank off the ground enough to get it under a floor jack. This helped a ton to get the bolt holes lined up.

2) on disassembly, other than the fuel filler tube, there are only two connections to disassemble. One with green clips and a press fit. when you drop the tank you’ll see another tubing and probably wonder “where the hell does that connect”. It doesn’t it’s a water drain from the fuel door compartment.

3) prior to dropping the tank make sure you cut the zip ties for the tubing connected to the corners of the charcoal filter or you’ll break the plastic mounting tabs.

4) be extremely careful when drilling the ~10mm hole in the frame for the front left bolt and weird J-nut looking thing in the kit. After drilling the hole I was using a trim removal tool to try and move the lines on top of the frame to make room for it. Turns out those are brake lines and I disconnected something leading to draining of all my brake fluid! Yep stupid me.

5) the instructions were accurate for trimming the fuel filler tube. I took around 1” off.

6) updating the fuel tank size in forscan is easy and lots of tutorials via google. Just make sure you first google getting the free two month license bc you need that to access the settings.

7) given the complete lack of torque settings in instructions I needed up using 10nm for the fuel pump and sender bolts (with blue loctite) and just guessed on the mounting bolts (until I get an accurate answer)

8) instruction were garbage for which connectors go to the long hose replacements. When you take apart the factory hose system, take note of the connectors for the two long hoses connecting to the charcoal filter. It took me a while to figure out which went where.

9) if you break some clips for the factory HP connects, don’t panic. NAPA carries some universal ones that work great (that’s where I ended up getting more high pressure bolt hose clamps also since my order was short one. The hose clamp size if 13-18 mm.

I should have mentioned for step two I was only referring to disassembly of the rear of the tank near the fuel filled. On the front side you have two high pressure hoses to disconnect (green clip and red clip) and a large molded electrical connector).

Alot of wieght.Wouldnt this cause the truck to lean to the drivers side a bit?
I'm a bit late on this. Fully loaded LRA tank made the driver side sit about 1/4 inch lower than the passenger side (tremor suspension). I didn't check the ride height before installing the tank.

I am lucky enough to know people because of my Ranger. A buddy works for Mercedes and was able to get me in to his shop for my Long Range America Tank installation.

For how much this tank costs, the install directions should have been much, much better. None of the hoses were labeled like they should have been and you only get 3 pictures to go off. This was actually the hardest part of the installation.

We pumped over the remaining fuel from my OE tank and then headed straight for the gas station. (Ignore the price, I got 50 cents off per gallon)

Showing approximately 800 miles per tank, since I've driven about 70 miles since I filled up.

Lucky you have access to a lift and shop. Thanks for the pictures should help with my installation.

A question about how low it hangs below frame rails? Before I install mine I plan having the exterior bottom portion covered in a spray on bed liner material to help with protection on trial from possible puncture. Not sure if it will really help but I don’t think it could hurt.

I posted a couple pictures on page 6 of this thread, comment #83.

My tank sits about 1 5/8" below the frame, and about 1/4" below the transfer case skid.

Yup, it sits below the frame, but I have the ARB skids and it doesn't sit lower than they do.

Dang I must have a ton of weight on my rig. My MPG estimator is showing 522 miles to empty after the LRA tank install

I average between 16 and 19 mpg. I don't think this has completely adjusted the calculation of range. I drove with the tank installed, but not updated for about 40 miles (I needed a windows laptop and I don't have one. My wife was at the hospital) and then I updated the size in Forscan. I don't trust the range yet, hoping it will settle into a more accurate reading soon.

Good to know I have ARB skid plates as well ?

I spend my days in the NICU right now, so it is hard for me to get a good picture, but I will try to get one that shows the line of the plates and the tank.
