This happens often up at the cottage - the highway runs parallel to Lake Huron, up on a bluff for much if it, with nothing but flat farm fields between the lake and the highway. Blowing snow off the lake and drifts so high the snow plows are called back to the service yard.
Just got done with 3rd time blowing everything out! Winds are drifting all the snow back in! We got 2 freezers full of meat downstairs........wifee making chicken enchilada soup for supper! That will do! And.........I'm eating and staying inside...........too friggin cold now that the sun is setting!

Would love to see more of Nebraska. I was in South Dakota on business and made a short detour into Nebraska as I was heading from Sioux City to Deadwood. I wanted to check it off as a state I had visited. All I remember is a double-decker bridge with one level going north, the other south. I stopped at some random park and took my mountain bike out of the rental car and went for a short ride. I also had a checklist of places where I had mountain biked.
