Extremely cold over night and started the dipstick removal/replacement. Stock dipstick between 5-6 dead even with second diamond. Checked it at least 8 times. All same reading. I'm not an expert but won't that drop even more once to operating Temps?

Is that without starting it at all after an extremely cold night?

Haven't dug into the catch bucket yet. It's setting to the side and I'll get to it. About to drop pan, change filter and put new pan on with drain for future. I'll post back what I find.
how is the magnet? and filter looking, and are you doing a new pan also ?

That looks to be really low! the hole can be tricky, it goes down at an angle and there is a step part way down, I will rock the stick at bottom just to feel if it's full seated.

Either way, now you will be able to know where you are at and adjust accordingly.

That fluid does look dark, the trans guy at the dealer said these are dirty transmissions, he blamed it on the rapid breaking in of the parts from new.

Magent only had what I could tell was the clutch material. Yes, went with a Dorman pan just to gain the drain plug. Identical to the oem one. I'll cut the filter open probably tomorrow. Just trying to get it all back together at the moment.
