Soon, I need a test mule in my area, development is pretty much done on the Ranger, I just need to ramp up production.

The Bronco is definitely next.

For anybody dropping into this topic who's interested in a dipstick.

Go ahead and leave a post here stating you want one.

But I hope to have enough inventory soon to just put up a link here instead of a list.

Thank you.
Hi I’d like one, please add me to the list and all the best for the holidays.

Confirmed. Perfectly level between 4 & 5 after adding that 3/4 quart.

How much damage can being short that mount do over 30k miles?

Makes you wonder if a portion of these 10R80 issues could have been alleviated with correct fluid levels.

Just curious what your transmission temperature was when you determined it was low. It’s supposed to be between 206F and 215F and then show between 4 and 5 on the dipstick. I’m in Michigan and this time of year it’s almost impossible to get it above 197F even when driving at 70mph @ 4000 rpm for twenty minutes plus. At 197F mine will read right at 5 . When air temperatures were above 70F I was able to get it above 208F on several occasions via either towing 6000lbs or driving 70mph @ 4000rpms for extended period of time. The fluid level then read between 4 and 5 and closer to 4. That extra 10 plus degrees of fluid expansion makes a difference on what the dipstick will show. As for the 3/4 quart making a difference it’s only about 6% low so not sure if that amount would cause any issues.

I haven't had time yet to get to mine in the Ranger, but I might see if it will fit in my Bronco first. No guarantees, I haven't had a lot of time lately.

To be honest the factory dipstick makes me nervous, no matter how much I watch a video.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

How did you measure the transmission temperature?

Sorry, changed my mind, please take me off your list. Looks like you have a great product, but I think I’ll take my chances with my ESP. i‘m not enough of a wrencher to get into monitoring the level. .

Ya know, you make a great point. I JUST got a ScanGauge III - so, that will be the true test. It’s still in the box. I’m gonna mess around with it after the holidays.

But, that being said I tested it after a 2+ hour drive on both occasions it was around 50°F outside.

I’m planning on installing the PPE plan in the coming weeks. So, this is all in preparation of that. I just wanted to see if calculations were consistent.

Yeah at 50F I doubt it got out of the 190’s. We drove from Michigan to Florida and back last year and I monitored it pretty much the entire time and never saw 200F that’s with the wife, dog and me plus a bed and back seat full of crap?. It takes a major effort to get it into the range that Ford requires.
