Mine was the stupid wing nut that came with a chrome air cleaner I had just bought....remember the long threaded stud from the center of the carb. Took the old cleaner off and ran the nut on a few threads till I was ready to install the new. Went to take the nut off, and it slipped out of my fingers....rest is history and a learning experience.Had to rebuild my 57 Ranchero side loader 3 speed(several times long story) putting the last bolt in the side cover I dropped it, bounced once went straight into the speedo hole in the tail shaft. Yep had to tear it back down. Taped the hole after that. Learned early on, if I drop it it can hide.only hurts when I stop.
