What did you do to your Ranger today?

Late yesterday, took truck to local Ford dealer to get battery checked (battery rated @ 651 CCA, 71% SOC, 12.52 V). Had Bronco Raptor on lot, sticker has 95K with 20K ADM markup. Online price has a deal = $100,740

Dealer markup is getting crazy. Friend went to look at Ranger Raptor. Said have to order, don't know when they will get it, and it too had a 20K ADM. Went next door and bought a new ZR2 off the lot for sticker.

Installed the drivers side swing box. I have points left at stage 3 so got this...

This is a must have coming from an F150 and lost all that storage space.

I am waiting to find one of these locally. They pop up here every now and then but I bet shipping cost would be wild.

Question on your paint.... Are there places between panels that it looks like they totally missed with the blue and top coat? Ie it's primer grey in them?

For me it is between the a pillar and front fender joint...

There are other places but this was the easiest photo to snap...

Bed Divider - Needed as I grew tired of fishing groceries from the front of the bed.

Could not decide which way I wanted to with this so built both and need to fine tune the one I go with. I am leaning towards the rail, lighter than the 2x10 its Chain Link - Top Rail.

Started putting in the Brake Controller. I will finish it in the morning.

Funny I got a zip bag of parts that I pulled off the truck already. Good on Ford marking the wires with blue tape to make it easy to find them.

Nothing exciting......I wiped the dust off of the Ranger with the California Duster while staring lovingly at my 2000 F250 that is sitting next to it........debating whether or not to sell the Super Duty with the 7.3L.

Thanks, I'll post some better pictures tomorrow morning. It's noticeable on the short seam towards the windshield.

It would be interesting to see how they actually do the tri coat painting... Because it seems like they did some panels after they were assembled, and some as stand alone parts...
