If you park in a garage - it takes about a week for it to stop (off-gassing), it is pretty strong for a bit.
I have a tonneau cover and can still smell it from time to time, but nowhere near as bad as it was when first sprayed.

It looks good. It looks just like mine actually but I had to ream out the holes to install the tie downs and they didn't say anything about leaving the tailgate down. Maybe that is what made my tonnosport install a bit of a pita.
Yea last time I had Line X done on the F150 nothing about leaving the tail gate down. Who knows.

I have it in the garage still and I don't smell anything. I'm leaving the tonneau cover off also, but truck staying in the garage and I have not drove it yet either. Just will leave it in the garage for a few days.

So installed the DeeZee gate assist and put the tri fold tonneau back on. Man those T50 bolts on that gate were in there. I got the Milwaukee out to defeat them. :)

Gonna install the brake controller soon and gonna start looking for a 2" level kit. I will install that myself also.

I am actually considering pulling my damper off, I thought initially it was a cool product, but after having it installed for over a year. I find it more annoying as since install I have a creak at the tailgate hinge point (due to the damper?) IDK, I can spray lube on the hinge, and it stops for a while but returns very quickly.
Plus, if you do not add Velcro or similar to the support cable / damper it will slowly start damaging the outer casing on the cable. (Rubs on side of damper) and chafes.

You will see this when you close the tailgate, the cable will position itself on either side of the damper, some have added Velcro to guide the cable better and provide a anti-chafe protection.

The tension that is created by the damper, as it opens / closes puts tension on the hinge as well, this tension creates the creak at the hinge point.

So, for me the slow damage to the cable and the hinge creak, the novelty of the damper is not worth it, especially since my hand is still trained to guide tailgate down anyway.

Yea I noticed the damper hits the cable and was thinking of putting something around the cable.

But you can get new cables for 12 bucks... So really not an issue.

Time will tell. The F150 had this built in but you could also open the gate with the fob.

Also, I have noticed your arms are getting weaker.

Got my winter maintenance done, only to find out that I'm leaking oil :frown: Fortunately, I'm still under warranty, so back to the garage we go next week to try and find out why & hopefully get it fixed without too much downtime.

Sorry, without pictures I don't believe you.

I bet you just sat in the garage and drank beer. Probably cheap beers too. Yuck.

Late yesterday, took truck to local Ford dealer to get battery checked (battery rated @ 651 CCA, 71% SOC, 12.52 V). Had Bronco Raptor on lot, sticker has 95K with 20K ADM markup. Online price has a deal = $100,740

Well another post. :)

Installed the drivers side swing box. I have points left at stage 3 so got this...

This is a must have coming from an F150 and lost all that storage space.
