Update:

I have almost enough to get started on the next batch, much sooner than expected.

Just waiting on bulk hose and fittings, the goal is 300 assembly's.

The only thing that has changed is I got the sticks custom made, (instead of me marking them) I increased the the amount of lines in the fluid scale, added "IDLING" to the text.

Everything else is the same, hopefully within a week, maybe two, more will become available.

I would prefer to be able to just put up a link, this whole list thing is bonkers, it is hit or miss, I send out PM's and some respond, some don't, so I wait a few days, if no response, I move on down the list. I'm afraid they wont see the PM, then I have moved on down the list after a few days and they are like "hey I missed it" (it's already happened actually)

I have been working on the whole manufacturing process from start to finish, it's sorted out pretty well now.

I have to thank everyone for the input, feedback and especially the purchases, keeps me able to buy more, build more, sell more, and have happy Ranger customers.?

Maybe he could sell the updated stick by itself (to those that bought the previous version)….that way if you want to change, you can without cutting into the tube inventory.
??‍♂

How about a trade in allowance ???
Then he could start a "Used Stick Lot" and sell em used, but with a "Chip Shortage Markup" !!!

Ha, way ahead of you, I plan on giving them to the first batch customers who want them, I do not want customers who wished they had waited to buy one, so I will offer the part as a product update, customer pays shipping only.

I have the length documented on a lot the sticks, but not all sticks, so the customer would have to measure it, then I can set the length and ship it.

I will be ordering more, but I'm not sure I want to give up any of the 300 I just got for updates, I might, I will see what the order time is.

On a different note, I have to send out a thanks to PltFX4, Richard, he actually did find a hydraulic hose saw for $200, I have been looking at old wore out saws for $1100-$1500, put a message up here "hey if anybody knows of a saw for sale let me know"

He took the time to look and found one cheap, it was a distance from me so there was $175 shipping but it is such a sweet saw, looks great, the paint on the pulleys where the V belt rides is not worn off, it must have just sat around somewhere getting little use.

I thought it was a scam and I would get a box of bricks, Richard forwarded me his number, I thought "it's certinally worth a try" Paypal would refund me if it was bogus.

I call, the old guy was great, he was fun to talk to, (I say old respectfully, I'm 62 he sounded 82) apparently Richard had called to see if it was still available, he had told him about what my project was and how I'm starting a new business. The old guy was happy to see it go to me, we talked for a long time, he crated it up and shipped it out.

I can only say "Thank you very much Richard!!"

Stuff like this really makes me appreciate this community, you guys are great.

Oh yeah, the 65, done up best I can, both worlds, daily driver/track car.

Driver: Power windows, locks, Navi, steering wheel radio controls, backup camera, great A/C, tilt wheel, 7" Sony display, good sound, fuel injection, comfy seat, street roll bar.

Track car: 500Hp 363 ci moved back 10" Viper close ratio 6 speed, full frame chassis, TCI front end, Ride tech coilovers, rack and pinon, torque arm rear suspension, fuel cell, full halo track roll cage with containment seat. With my 85lbs ballast in front of the right rear tire, it will balance cross weights perfectly and 51/49 front/rear, not great at either a street car or a track car, but does both well. It'll run 1:30 all day at one of the local tracks, Willow Springs streets, and sit in bumper to bumper traffic in 106* with ice cold air. So with all that, it is a pig, 3100lbs.

It was a daily driver until the knee started to give me trouble, I racked up 12k miles on it initially, now not so much, and I have a sweet Ranger to drive

Thanks for asking! unfortunately it's sitting with a dead battery right now.

Just finished my install today. This is a quality product and well worth the price. Checking the trans level is now a simple process. I went in from the passenger wheel well and underneath for access. I did run into an issue with my truck that made routing the hose down a problem. The transmission harness was blocking the gap to route the hose down. I was having a hard time getting it past the harness because it was blocking the opening.

Dipstick install 2B.webp

What I found was the harness retainer clip (green arrow) had come loose and the harness had dropped down into the gap. I re attached the clip and pushed the harness back up while rotating the connector attached to the harness up on top as it made the harness wider. This opened up the gap to feed the hose down to the trans fitting.

I'm very happy with the stock look and Mike is very responsive to any questions.
Thanks again, Mike!

Seems like such a minor detail but credit for updating the product. I think of the Suma mirror fitment issue that they went silent on it when it was corroborated. Considering the size of manufacturer and number of customers MBS is earning far more credibility than other vendors.

As a 1st batch customer I would like the updated stick when/if available, but agree with @The Last Ranger, happy to pay material & shipping.
Mike, same goes for me. Happy to pay for the up-dated version.
Put me on the list for one, but not at the expense of taking away from a pending customer.
When extra's become available I'll be waiting.

Mike I would want the updated stick but only if I pay you for it, you don't owe me a freebe and I would never expect you to send it for free, thx
You can cover the shipping, it’s like this, overall, I’m in this for for money, but I want to be happy about it, and I want the end user to be happy about it as well.
I expected the initial feedback to show any areas of improvement, as such the reading of the stick, so I needed to make a change, and I want to make sure it applies across the previous parts sold, but hey, nobody has tried the new stick yet, it might not be perfect, but, it should be better as the marking is laser etched, much deeper marking.
I’m going to pitch one out to the madman who started this topic and see what he thinks, you know “seems to me a simple matter of simple CAD exercise”
We will see what he thinks?

Actually most people won’t get it, few have read all of this monster topic.
