I’ve been working 12hr days since October 16th with today being my first fatigue day. Wife and I decided to run to Sugar Land for a bite to eat and for her to do a little shopping.

The way to and from Sugar Land is heavily wooded county roads. Well on the way home less than an hour ago we seen a pack of wild hogs in the right hand ditch. Coming in the opposite lane was another truck and while I was watching the truck pigs, one darted from the left ditch right in front of us. Needless to say the Ranger took it very well! Thank goodness for the metal skid plate. Was going about 45mph when impact occurred.

Now to hit the sack for an early 4:30am wake up time

Ranger- 1
Wild Pig- 0

Q: What flashes before a wild hog’s eyes when it hits your skid plate?

A: Its arse

I’m glad you didn’t wreck.

It's more like...... Q: What went through his mind............?

And it certainly won't have the guts to do it again.

Last week a truck in front of me hit one we were doing 70 by the time I hit it, kind of like hitting a speed bump at 70 sometimes these trucks can do things well, just be careful, if I was the 1st truck to hit it, I think it would have ended differently even though I have a Bull Bar it might have bent it!

I had a crazy incident once. I was living in Nebraska at the time and I was on I-80 and I was passing a semi and all of the sudden I had this pink mist all over my truck. I was like WTH? I thought it was some hydraulic thing had exploded. Well the semi hit a deer head on and I couldn't see it and I just got the spray. I pulled over because it took me a few minutes to figure out what exactly happened.
