I have been working on exactly this, problem is time and money right now. It would need a custom tune to work and the parts are expensive so it would only appeal to some people. I’m planning on making a prototype controller and seeing if it works then I’ll make an adequate fan assembly and do some real world testing. Hopefully I get to it before my clutch fan fails and breaks everything up there.Who's going to be the first one to take the PWM signal the ECU sends through that fan harness and adapt it to an electric fan so we can ditch the engine driven one?
I suppose this could be adapted.

I'd imagine you would have to give the ECU some feedback though as opposed to just controlling an electric fan. It probably expects something back from its commands.

If it can use the existing signal to the fan clutch that sounds like great product! I’ll be looking into that tomorrow. The way I see it, that controller should work fine (if it works as advertised) the only thing will be getting the proper fan speed feedback to the PCM.
But that's just a guess on my part.
I ran out and checked mine after that last failure happened.……runs out to truck in the wind and rain to make sure all is good.…
Yep, all is good.
?
Checked mine couple weeks ago. Looks brand new, flexible.I ran out and checked mine after that last failure happened.
Smell your oil and check your hose daily.Something that should be checked every time you smell your oil. ?
