Welcome to the thread, sir.It looks like I am pretty late for an introduction but here goes anyway. I was in the Navy Seabees. I served in Vietnam for two tours from 66 through 68. I worked as an Equipment Operator sometimes with the Marines, Army and Special Forces in the mountains near Laos. My Battalions main bases were Da Nang and Chu Lai and then at a small camp with a 13 man Seabee Team about 100km Southeast of Saigon during the 68 Tet Offensive. My last year and a half in the Navy was easy duty by Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas, moving nuclear weapons around.
When I park in one, they only have to look at my tag..."GRRUMPY", my silver gray hair and beard, my limp, and my "Steely Eyed Look" and never question me...
Get some!!!!
31M Multi-channel Communications Operator, US Army, Fort Hood, 54th Signal BattalionSure there are plenty in here. Thought it’d be nice to open up a thread only for military Veterans and LE. Those who earned the title, not those who call themselves Veterans of whatever they happened to have done in the civilian world.
This is an invite to my brothers and sisters in arms to connect within this ranger5g forum.
