What!!! Walmart has the best prices of out of stock inventory. Nobody beats them!
Shopping Walmart on line is more frustrating than in person.

When I try and view these items it requires me to login in order to see it - how stupid is that? I'm glad I'm not forced to shop at Walmart - the few times I have I always feel like I need to take a shower afterwards....

True story.
I worked the counter at a diesel engine and heavy equipment rebuild center. We were an authorized Kubota industrial diesel engine service center. A customer came in wanting a water pump for his Kubota engine. We had it in stock for around $80. He laughed and said that Napa sold them for $45. So I politely suggested he go there. His reply was that they couldn’t get them anymore. ?‍♂
Sorry to interject this in the thread but thought it was appropriate

If you tell me the part number I’ll see if Walmarts out of stock price is better.

What would be the point in that?

B&M dictates minimum pricing regardless of retailer. Lots of manufacturers do.

If it's not a B&M product but some generic knock off who knows what you're getting. It might not be worth $20 from a practical standpoint.

Many items on Wally.com are sold by a third party.
They are an Internet retailer front end for anyone who pays to be there - a little like Sears was in their last days as a retailer. It's more of a flea market than legit internet commerce.

Finally a update about some real progress!

I'm still just a little ways out, but I'm a bunch closer, I have the parts finally, I still have to have the hoses made and I'm waiting on the stamp and ink for the handle.

They came out nice, the anodizing looks good and they fit the engine bracket well.

The top fitting will probably have to be machined where the stick goes in, to adjust for the hose length variation, that still has to be determined, I'll know exactly when I get 60 hoses in hand.

I threw in the logo, MBS or "Mike's Build Shop", I actually started a company, it was the logical thing to do, I can order stuff at better pricing, as well as other benefits, plus branding and image goes a long way vs a no name blank part.

Next week things should really start to move along, I hope everybody still has interest and haven't given up, it sure has been a painfully long process.

As soon as you say we can order, I'll be one of the first to do it! Looking forward to it!
