just icon 2.5” ext travel coilovers with their tubular upper arms. I swapped the springs that come with them for 14” Eibach 700 pound springs. Adjusted the preload to get me sitting around 3.5” lift up front. The rear is deaver leaf springs with a bad 1” shackle. I trimmed the lower back part of the front fenders and cut off the crash bar bracket in the rear. For the front crash bar brackets I trimmed them to follow the angle of the gusset that’s on the rear part of those brackets. I can get some pics if you like. The front don’t rub but while off-roading and bottoming out the front they do rub the inner fender liners. I ended up ripping off the passenger rear flare as you can see in the pic. I believe maybe the rear wheel shifted forward a little bit and made contact pulling the flare off. I’ve been toying with the idea of just cutting out the whole flare front and rear but idk yet.
Thanks for the details, no photos needed. I'm still a year or more away from my nest set of tires. I'm definitely going upsizing again, just haven't decided how much yet. I'll be on OME BP-51 suspension by then, but don't want to remove any fender flares (just installed them today) or fender liners.

Yea I’d like to keep my fender liners. I pulled my aftermarket flares off and might try to make them work. Might try to figure out how to keep it from bottoming out so much.

Installed my ClearViews about 20 min ago. Yes, in the dark at 0130. Good ol nightshift. Figured I'd be productive since I'm awake. Couldn't even use the garage, wife and kids car in the way and it would have taken me just as much time to move cars as it did to install the mirrors.

I installed the last fender flare, then removed it and re-installed the snorkel. Then I spent so many hours slowly grinding away on the flare to fit around the snorkel, but still needs a piece of body trim to finish it. Then removed it one last time to clean everything up and install the marker light for final installation. As I start putting the marker light in, the whole piece popped right out, and is fkd now. The rest of the flare is injection or thermo-molded, but the light cup is a separate piece that is glued in. I was pi$$ed, lol.

In normal circumstances I'd have stopped the install and re-packaged the whole flare, but seeing as I already cut it to fit, I doubt they'll want it back, so I just finished the install, without the fender light in place.

I'll be contacting them in the morning and looking for a solution, either a replacement flare or suitable adhesive that will hold it securely for the long run.

No Rubbing

Livernois Calibration thing got it +1 mph indicated vs GPS via tire rack rotational info.

Feels like this should have been the stock tire.. just need it to rain to see if that opinion holds. Rides way better with more sidewall and they over filled them a touch...

with the tire shine stuff..

Two of four center caps glued on with silicone....

Also now they are semi shiny. Got the can of sort of shine after them. I hate the high gloss but those are almost grey against the shadow black of the truck.

Some mods are just more macho than others! =p

I never thought I'd be preoccupied with mice and chipmunks.

I blew and sprayed the engine bay, left the hood open in the bright sunlight, and put sachets of balsam fir and peppermint oil in the engine bay and now in the cab too. The botanical balsam fir oil is like fresh sawdust in the cab, not too bad.

I finished off the spray bottle of peppermint and eyedroppered pure peppermint oil onto the battery blanket.

Maybe it makes it all taste better! =D
