Saw in the news today that storm I posted above had a F1 tornado that touched down about 5 miles from me. Snapped a couple of 2 foot diameter trees clean off at the bases. They were Oak trees too! One house got damaged from one of the trees. Ripped the brick chimney off the house.

Wednesday was the second-hottest July 26 on record in Goodyear.
July 26 was a scorcher, with the temperature soaring to 116.1 degrees, compared with 105.9 degrees on a typical July 26. The last time it was hotter was back in 1995, when the temperature was 117 degrees.

I thought it's been fairly normal here while hearing all the hyper reports of extreme weather an a quick search shows it's not that bad here. Before AZ flips me off we have to occasionally shovel snow so it balances out.

Currently sitting here in Flagstaff at 7pm...it is 59°.... Sweat shirts and long pants required ....

Spent many days in Lorain at the Econoline/ThunderChicken plant off Baumhart Rd. Stayed at Holiday Inn/Express in Vermillion-Cleveland to the west of the Lorain Assembly. No fun in the winter for sure...

105 today. not too bad. had worse. several years ago during summer we had a dust storm. that was miserable. humid hot sweaty dirty and coughing mud. im kinda tired of all the media ramping up this extreme heat climate change alert stuff daily. the govt controlled media is acting like its the end of the world, it is summer time. what does one expect in my area in summer - its supposed to be hot.
