I bought a bunch of those little lights. . .

They are great for what they are. . . there are some real fanatics out there, the kind of fanatic that buys one of every color of a 75 dollar flashlight, builds a case for them and never uses them, just looks at them. and no, that is not me that i described. I had to leave their facebook page and unsubscribe from their youtube because of all the morons there. . .
I use two Olights. This one is for kayaking and I clip it to my PFD.

The other is an older "baton" that I use a few times a night when I let Cheech out to pee. It's held up really well. I only which they were US made ...

Mine's older than that and doesn't have the proximity detector (which I think would drive me crazy).

Now what I'd really like is this type of magnetic connector for my Ranger's battery tender. I've found similar but none quite like this.

link to older one above like I use, not in Olight store anymore:

This is my EDC, https://www.olightstore.com/warrior-mini-3-portable-flashlight.html

I was using one of the batons, but I wanted a tailcap switch which the warrior provides. it also has a larger battery and the bezel is a faux compliance bezel.

The seeker 3 is in the glove box, each of the girls (GF and kid) have a small one that uses a single AAA battery (i3R I think), I have the full size warrior 2 in mydrivers door pocket. . .

I may also have their handgun weapon light on my sig, because why not. . . there are others that have been relegated to the junk drawer, and are now in a box somewhere in storage I think . . . LOL

That's a nice tactical light and I do like their rail lights.

That's great that you got all your girls some nice lights - no substitute for one when you need it.

I wouldn't mind a full-size Olight in my glovebox but I went with a 2-D cell LED Mag light since it's US made and I wanted alkaline batteries for that one.

I didn't need a tail switch for this use since I'm always with Cheech and he's a pretty tactical little 20 pound barking and biting crazy dog (shoelaces be warned!).

Here he is being tactical barking at a siren!

Gave my blower motor 1.07hp (or more accurately, 800watts) of increased power.
MOAR POWAH!

Old one, only 9.5k miles on it... Those Canadian wild fires had some wicked s***.

Filter was actually still pretty much white until we got hit with the smog.

@subquark if you ever feel like one day I've blocked your comments it is not because of anything you've said or done, it's because you post too many products that I myself then start to convince myself that I also need - Olights in this case - and I'm starting to think our relationship is not healthy for me ?
It's all @AzScorpion's fault!

Oh no, you've returned it to that design flaw of too much rake - eegads! =p

Bummer but how did you break the driveshaft (remind me to never arm wrestle Colo_Ranger!)?

your truck's looking pretty awesome! =)

I prefer the rake over the squat. I love the way it stands now.

As for the driveshaft. I was struggling to get the pins on the leaf lined up with the hole in the perch, so I took the u-bolts off the other side and then realized that allows the pinion to drop forward and rotate the axle. This separate the splines on the drive shaft and let them hit the ground rather hard, fubaring the splines. We attempted to clean them up, but couldn't get the drive shafts back together. Now, we also can't get it back apart... Its locked together about 1/2 way in.

Moral of the story - don't take both leaves off at the same time unless you have a really good way of bracing the axle so it doesn't rotate. Tom Woods shaft has been ordered.

wow lovely.... can't afford that here in CA ?
I just got back from San Francisco and the last 3 Dead and Co. shows and was blown away at the high prices there. Minimum 1 million for a crappy little row house. WOW. $15.75 for a frigging beer at Oracle Park. OUCH. I will stay up here in Oregon.

After putting on 5,169 miles on MP2 (almost a years worth of driving) on our trip last month I got the oil changed with a full synthetic. I also had the tires rotated and alignment done after hitting a few potholes along the way. So now I should be good for a year. Lol

Dang that sucks big time. I bet you were kicking yourself like mad on that one. But who knew?

Both my draft shafts are screwed up on the old FJ40. Both are dented and the front one chewed up the needle bearings and flops in your hand. It will still go, but I wouldn't do more than a few feet slowly with the front hubs locked, just to get unstuck. Those drive shafts are so short that there's much less force on them. The front's 28 inches and the rear is 21 inches!

Hope you get your new one soon and it's better than the OEM right?

Good luck and take some install pics! =)

According to Carey (? I think) at Tom Wood’s, it’ll ship tomorrow and should be here Friday… hoping he’s right.
