Yep, dang things ate up the hood liner in my GM plastic car. I leave the hood open now when it's in the garage. Plus, we have a couple ferral cats in the woods that help a lot. :)

Look on the bright side…….you have hood struts.

My Passat suffered the same fate.

That totally sucks Duke. Little varmints. I have a squirrel problem which I fixed with Ritz crackers and peanut butter Oh and my pellet gun. I only have seen a couple all summer and they don't hang around like they used to. Maybe the word spread to stay away from my property! LOL.

That Stinks. With all that copper wire they ate probably won't have to worry about them coming back. Guess that's what happens when you go to AZ for a couple weeks to do renovations and leave it parked in the woods :crying: .

@DukeCanBuildit , that really sucks. Damn critters can do a lot of damage in a relatively short time. To what were those wires connected? Hope that you get True North back on the road again soon.

@Doc , do you have to remove those every time you drive, or do they withstand the heat?

Thanks, it was a critical harness - the truck wouldn’t start! So, I tried the Ford app. It would start but stop running when it was put in gear.

It was discovered at the worst time possible - here are the gory details.….

Place a couple of these under your hood...

If I used those here the mice would look like they were deep fried under my hood. lol Especially next week when they're saying it'll be 116 - 120. o_O
