I finally did it! Installed and working, mostly.
Ended up using Positaps for the connections as I didn't want to bust out the soldering iron to splice in wires. The 18 gauge wire I used was a little difficult to fit into the terminal pins and housing for the CCM connector, but it worked. Might suggest 20 gauge or thinner insulated 18 gauge as previously suggested in the thread.
Got really nervous when the CCM was not showing up in Forscan, but creating a new vehicle profile while reloading seemed to be the solution. Worked great for most of the quick test drive last night, but got a "sensor blocked" error right at the end of it. There didn't seem to be any obstructions, but the user manual says that it can just sometimes throw that error for no reason and you have to hope it goes away or doesn't come back after ignition off. So hopefully not a significant issue, but only time will tell.
