Well made me check. Happy to report gaps on my truck are very uniform. Measured hood, doors and all. Guess Thailand built trucks have decent quality control.

Dont check the hood to fender alignment either, front bumper alignment, or the mirrors.

Thank goodness mine are just fine!?
I checked those a while back when I saw posts here about it, mine look, dare I say perfect, lol.

I DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG? MAYBE TRY OFF ROADING AT THE MALL. IT MIGHT SHIFT IT ANOTHER DIRECTION

*ODE TO @TOMDEE
You know I feel pretty sure it wasn’t like that when I first purchased it I want to believe my anal self would have noticed it after all the up close and personal detail wash n wax stuff, for some reason it just popped out at me today being very noticeable,
I do have a number of those speed humps/bumps in my neighborhood maybe they caused it, IDK, but it is what it is.
Anyone know might be the shifty part, bed or cab? Just curious.

After this truck, whatever sales guy I get from now on for a vehicle is gonna think I’m such a colossal pain in the ass. But hey it’s my money lol. I will say I was particular about my tractor when it got delivered but it was perfect. I suspect it’s becuase it’s made in Japan. Sales guy didn’t seem to mind though (I think)

While cleaning out some debris between the bed & cab I noticed the drivers side gap is much more than the other side, is this normal or common?
Other than looks (to me) any thing to be concerned about alignment being off
Looks to be roughly 1/2” on pass and 7/8” on driver side.
Not looking for a dealer trip so I guess I won’t look at it.

Just to change the subject a little, how did you reach in there to clean out between the cab and bed?

i wouldnt worry about it. if it really bugs someone they could likely loosen the bed to frame bolts and adjust the bed then tighten bolts. iim not even gonna look at mine.

mine was all crooked everywhere.
panel gaps, bumpers not centered, it was a shit show.
this guy was the QA on the line for the 2019's.

couldnt fire him, he was in the union

I can see that you're joking, but don't blame the union for protecting him. People have human rights, besides, Ford hired him, not the union. I doubt that even the most nimble fingered Chinese kids Ford could ever outsource truck production to would still have the same issues???

To the OP, there has to be a certain amount of "slop" built into the panel fits, and quite a few other things on a vehicle. It would be next to impossible to build down the assembly line if you tried to bring that many different parts from that many different suppliers together in such a specific process. Having said that, Ford should check those fits before it leaves the Line and flag it for repair.
