I searched, but I didn't see anything relative, just wondering if anyone had this happen before. Worried it might be the start of something.

So, this weekend I needed to work on the R32, so I pulled the Ranger out into the driveway. A couple hours later, after putting the front end back on, I needed take the R32 off the wheel dollies and just park it as I'm taking it to a friend of mine on Wed for some work. I needed to move the Ranger back and over so I can get a good angle to park the R in the garage.

I went to start the truck and it didn't start right away like normal. It just cranked and cranked. Not long, but longer than usual, probably 5-10 sec or so, then it fired up. Hasn't happened since. No CEL's or anything. Got me worried of an impending problem.

Probably nothing and sounds like those pesky Gremlins are back.

Lets hope so lol.
There's been several Gremlins with electric over the years where they turn the key (or push) and everything is dead. Then 10 minutes later it fires back up like nothing was wrong to never have this problem again. Hopefully this is one of them.

You had cranking but apparently no fueling or sparking. Makes me curious - when was the last time you've replaced your battery? A weak battery is easy enough to test for. This is also something that's common to pop up when moving the car around as you're starting the car multiple times but not driving enough to charge up from the alternator.

I've never changed the battery, it's a 2023 with a little over 15k miles. And it was just in for service so if there was an issue with the battery I'm sure they would have told me considering they wanted to upsell me wipers, which I found comical. It was detailed the day before I took it in, and I could see they activated the washers by the residue, but there were absolutely no streaks, but I need wipers??

I get slow starts if I start the engine, let it run for less than a minute, then turn it off, then start it again soon after that. It’s like it’s still a little flooded from the first start. Pretty normal and I’ve learned to expect it.
