Dave they have minimum speed on most hwy's, so when some one needs to pass just move over to the shoulder if it's a 2 lane. That or put it in sport.:like:
No worries Larry. I learned my lesson the last time I tried this.

Also you can exceed the limit to pass on a two lane if the car you are passing is under the limit. Problem is when you punch the gas in the Ranger you are usually 30 over the limit. I am anyway. ?

“Subject to all other applicable motor vehicles laws, a driver of a passenger car, motorcycle or pickup truck, not towing any other vehicle, may exceed the posted speed limit by up to fifteen (15) miles per hour while passing another vehicle traveling at less than the posted speed limit, in order to safely pass"

Just follow a semi to keep the RPMs low. You’re supposed to keep revs down during break-in, right?
You're supposed to fluctuate your speed and rpm's and no hard braking or engine braking for the first 500-100 miles. Rpm's should be kept under 4K.

New tires should be kept under 50 mph for the first 500 miles to set the cords properly :lipssealed:.

I definitely will Steve. I'll be leaving WA on Tuesday and driving about 260 miles to La Grande, OR for the night so I think we'll be going through ID on Wednesday. I'll have to look at the route again because I really don't want to do all highway driving but we do need to be back here by Thursday night.
La Grande to McCall is a bit out of the way with the miles you have to travel. Don't forget to stop at Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls though.

Southern Idaho time zone will mess you up then as we are mountain time.
For some reason that doesn't bother driving as much as it does flying. Plus I'll be driving straight through ID into NV so I wouldn't have noticed it until you just mentioned it. Thx a lot. ?

Curious when crossing time zones will the cellphone update the time automatically or would you need to do a quick restart?
