Do I need to remove the leaves/gunk debris from the top of edge of the bed? I’ve tried before and can get some stuff out but a lot seems “stuck”.

Thoughts?

You should get as much out as you can....it's where water in the bed drains from...the lower "grooves" that are plugged up.
Try using a narrow plastic pick or trim removal tool....something that won't scratch your spray in liner.
Something like the narrow one in the picture. Even wooden popsicle sticks or wooden "chop sticks".

pressure washer works great and then I have a long reach thing-a-ma-jig I use with the air compressor to clean all the crap out from between the bed and the cab. there's a ledge in there that catches everything

Once I spray line my bed and have it covered might silicone them up. What a PIA to keep pine needles out of

High heat is the solution for twigs, leaves and other flammable tinder.

My dealer washed new truck and factory spray bed very well prior to pick up, but debris apparently remained. Found dry leaf parts (& tiny stems) stuck in bed groove by cab.

Used tweezers to gently pull out visible pieces. So crumbly, had to be careful & tug very slowly. I'm sure some pieces remain.

Planning on bed cover acquisition when a decent discount is avail. Should minimize accumulation going forward.

Someone mentioned a ledge under crack catches debris.

Question:

(perhaps already answered)

Is it possible/easy to direct air hose from inside bed (or elsewhere) to meaningfully dust off or clean that ledge?

Could speed bed drainage & minimize moisture-retaining debris & eventual rust on ledge or nearby metal (painted or not).

Keep things spiffy!

Your bed looks like a medical lab compared to mine.
