Was at a local Ford dealer yesterday and asked about Rangers. None on the lot. Truck guy said they are not taking orders, will be 2024 when open. They open the books for a week or so then they close. Asked about 2023 models, he said very hard to get allocation! Asked about special orders, eg. Splash, Tremor, he said again good luck! So I wait, but am torn on the 2024 Maverick-y front end. That's why I asked about 2023. I guess I could search online at dealers but am not that motivated at this time, it would be an impulse buy. I love my 2019. This dealer had 10 Bronco's in a row, + $5k markup.

Received the call that my Truck was sitting on the lot at Granger Motors and hope to pick it up in the next couple weeks. everything went pretty smooth with the order, build date jumped around for a minute then proceeded forward. all in all about 5 1/2 months.

look at the post just prior to that one. my truck has been built (4/17). I was waiting on it to move to shipped, not revert back to order confirmed.

One way you can confirm your truck has been built is to download the FordPass app and try and pair it with your VIN - you won't be able to complete it, but if you get the prompt saying "confirm on the truck" (whatever it says), you'll know the truck is built. Just know if you do this you may end up having to do a master reset once you get the truck in order to be able to pair to it with Fordpass.

Thanks for the replies. I actually connected it to my Ford Pass app when I got the VIN. The module’s actually populated on my blend date so, I knew it was alive. I received my Built email the next day. Just awaiting shipping. It’s probably just a glitch with the tracker. Ford Pass now shows the truck image

Awesome! Now it is just matter of getting it from the plant to your dealer.... The last thing - and what seems like it takes the longest.

My '23 Ranger Tremor shipped on December 7, 2022 and it still isn't at my dealership. What is going on?!?!
