Longest wearing tires I've had were Michelin LTX M/S back around 2008. They were on a full size GMC pickup and had about 65k highway miles on them when I sold it. They still had half tread left. They were P rated version.

I had two sets on a GMC Acadia. Both sets I got over 80k on them. Very good tires.

I'm curious on the conditions of the dirt roads you use to get home? ?

That said if looking for a good street tire only then I would suggest either the Michelin LTX M&S or the Firestone Destination LE3. Both are good street tires that will give good wet traction and are 3 peak rated for winter.

How do you like the ride, noise etc? Would you buy again?
I love these sets better than the previous Falkens...all terrain with aggressive tread but still perform great on highways...super quiet and wears more evenly than the Falkens as well...I'd buy another replacement set but they've discontinued the white letter version so we'll see...considering General Grabber X3 next round...

I have 47,609 on my stock Hankook ATM tires. They have honestly been good tires. Never hydroplaned or been stuck off-road. They have 5-7 miles left on them to be bald. I am having them replaced tomorrow with the Cooper Rugged Treks.

I like the looks of the rugged treks. But I really like the ride of the Hankook.

Go to the Tire Rack website. Great rating systems as well as reviews.
Thanks, I went there, and they are not what I remember. They do give you the specs needed, but using their search feature, they only show limited tires. Theres more to it than that, but they were much better than DT.

The dirt roads do occasionally get soft, but in mud season I will still have my dedicated snows on. Otherwise they are hard packed.

Apparently you don't drive in the snow at all.

The Hankooks are a steaming pile of shit in the snow.

My Bridgestone a/t’s might last 40,000 but I bought a set of takeoffs ,for 100$ 3 a/t’s and one H/T Bridgestone . The guy said they came in that way. I don’t know why you didn’t go back to the dealer.

Looking for a set of summer tires. I do not go off road, other than dirt roads to get home. Original tires had plenty of traction, just didn't last 36K. I drive conservatively, use truck as daily driver with light hauling. Looking to improve milage without sacrificing handling in rain. Any ideas froom those that use truck in similar fashion?
Don't bother with all terrains if you're not off roading. It's just not worth the money even if modern ATs last a long time.

Just go on Tirerack or similar and find the best all season highway tire that's on sale and call it a day.

Michelin LTX or Defender.
The LTX will be the last tires you put on the truck.
Defenders will be cheaper and may also be the last tires you put on the truck.
