Will Ranger be able to compete GMC? The AT4 is going to have more horsepower and torque. With possible better mpg! It would be nice if Rangers could have f/r lockers. Please tell me I’m missing something! I love my Ranger! But GMC is dangling cake at a fat kid! ??

I just got rid of two GMs.

If you want the GMC; I really hope it comes with a multimeter as standard equipment.

Said by someone who is being tempted daily by a Trans Am for sale near work..... That said... i have TWO multimeters.

The GM twins are very nice looking trucks, and GM did a nice job with them. I am not big of GM reliability, but lets give them some time and we will see how they are working out. Eventually we will start getting reports of people on this forum racing one at a light. At that time we will see how the extra HP and torque are working out for them.

What are they competing for? A dick waving contest over trivial differences?

Are a majority of owners going to use them beyond Instagram or going to Walmart?

Do people really spend time in their life pondering which truck is better like these inanimate objects are some fictional WWE wrestlers?

I considered the twins when I was looking for a truck. I really liked the truck over all, but didn't want leather on the interior of a top trim "offroad" vehicle... I love the new AT4, but I'm not in love with the price tag. That's a big pill to swallow...

Once upon a time, I had a 2015 1500 All Terrain. I loved the truck in many ways but.... after 3 years and 38k pavement princess miles they told me I need both front hubs/bearings done...nope... traded in on Ram.

What year TA?
I need to stop by when their gates are unlocked. It's a 4th generation and I think in the 98/02 range. It has an aftermarket hood/wheels/etc on it so I'm not sure by driving by.

My Ranger needs a center bearing at 38k miles... what should I trade it in for?

Don't you just love it when a company (GMC-Chevy) comes out with something new and EVERYONE jumps on the bandwagon to stand in line___"I gotta get one" !!!
Imagine if some Chinese auto company came out with a pick up that had even more "neat stuff"....
how many would start comparing it to the Ranger.
Cannot understand buying new just to have "new" cause it has a new option...especially if, as you posted, most owners will likely never use the vehicle to it's full potential.
