New here but not to Warranty

[2021Ranger]

Brian, I have a 2021 with 4200 miles on it that has the dreaded driveline vibration and only has a 2” leveling kit in the front. Been back to dealer 3 times for this issue and they did the TSB but still same issue(better but still there). Clearly told me that they are not sure what to do. At this point I am going to replace the shaft with a one piece one as this seems to fix the issue..will there be an issue with warrantee with this?

9zero1790 While context is hard to convey in text, unfortunately they are correct in Fords stance as driveline angle is no longer at factory spec due to lift no matter the type, if the vehicle was still stock you would have a leg to stand on, hate to put it that way but that is where it is at this point in time

and what if the issues started before the suspension upgrades? suspension upgrades void warranty for transmission ?

@9zero1790 not really but again you gave the dealer a way out of it by modifying the vehicle before the problem was diagnosed or corrected as NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) diag is covered by base warranty unless found within driveline but that has now been modified and no longer at spec no longer covered transmission failure still in play under powertrain. next question, is the vehicle at stock ride height? if yes and suspension is direct oe replacement should be no issue, if it is not the case then it looks like you are stuck

one piece will void driveline yes

What about cases where the leveling kit was offered and installed by the dealer?

upto the dealer usually ends up back at selling dealer
