Thank you! I connected truck to wifi and searched for updates, it was up to date ?‍♂ I'll try that! Thank you so much!
You can’t rely on the wifi finding the update. Some have had success that way, but it’s hit or miss.

I've had the best luck using the Cyan Labs Sync updater. Download their tool onto your PC and it will formet and download what you need onto it correctly. Then just go out and plug it into your truck and it will update it.

You are correct about the Wi-Fi updates. According to what Ford told me (but you can't always depend on what they say), the Sync 3 systems are no longer offering updates by Wi-Fi as they did previously. But they said that the newer Sync versions are able to be updated by Wi-Fi. I did an update on my Sync 3 to 3.4.23188 this week by Flash Drive and it was smooth and quick. The earlier updates I did to Sync 3 were glitchy and problematic so they have improved the software.

Start here, enter your VIN, and follow the instructions:
https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/
Can't even begin to tell you how frustrating this has been with the radio and despite mentioning to dealership at my last oil change they appeared clueless.

Started with Sirius always defaulting to channel zero. I don't know why but after this issue it defaulted to AM 1 preset 2. WtF

Now it seems to be normal after the update! You are awesome and I can't thank you enough. My sanity also thanks you!!
