Did you pull down the headliner or run the rear camera cable along the floor?
Ran the cable along the front of the headliner, then behind the upper door molding, then tucked behind the liner to the back glass. I pulled the rear door molding to give better access to hide all the excess rear camera cable.

I installed a Tom Woods one piece drive shaft on my 2021 Ford Ranger

Took it for a test drive.... big difference
In highway speed vibration...no more worries about my Carrier Bearing which had begun to fail....?....

It's amazing how much movement of the bearing is taking place with the natural weight of the shaft.

After a close call last night where I almost got ran into the guard rail as a speedster who was going north of a hundred squeezed in and made a lane change between me and the car in the next lane
He almost wiped out trying to gain control from the swerve.
I looked on Amazon is there another place i could check them out?
And does it mount to the mirror stem or stick to the glass? i can't tell from your pics.
Thanks.

Not an expert in the driveshaft world but what would be the reason Ford went with that design vs a one piece?

Rob I used the OBD port for my power supply. I just ran it down the headliner, A pillar then down the side. I don't think all dash cams are compatible with this bit the Thinkware U100 is. Not sure what you're looking to spend but I have a lot of pictures in this thread here. If you go back a page or two there's a link the Blackboxmycar which is an online store. they have good prices and customer service and will help you pick out the right cam.

I assume it's to accommodate the angle differences between the transmission and rear-differential, but ford cheaped out on that as well and resulted in many trucks with shudder and vibration.

I'm not an expert, but this page might help.

Personally, I would like to look into beefier support bearings before I drop $700 on a driveshaft.
I could barely wiggle the bearing on my 08 gmc canyon. Not the case for the ranger.

Oh wow the OBD would be a convenient source, i have never had an interest in dash cams until that close call, i watched Vortex Radar YT channel he just posted a comparo and road test on a bunch of different brands, thanks for the link i'll check it out.

You can also find a brand you like by looking through Amazon then go to that company's webpage. You can usually get more information that way. I'm looking into Vantrue brand. They have good reviews on youtube.

That's why I went that route. It was super easy and no splicing/tapping into anything. The Viofo is a really nice unit too. The only reason I didn't go with it was because the Thinkware has the highest heat rating of them all which I need here. I've watched all of Vortex Radars videos and he has some good comparison ones and this one compares the 4K cams.
