You'll need 3 Ton for the 2030 BEV Ranger, might as well get them now. A battery pack will likely add 1,000-1,200# to the empty weight.Hmmm, it only weighs 4200 lb...
Um, yeah, don't think I'll be wantin' a 'lectric truck, thanks ???!You'll need 3 Ton for the 2030 BEV Ranger, might as well get them now. A battery pack will likely add 1,000-1,200# to the empty weight.
Brian, make sure they mount it with the air valve facing down. This way you can check it periodically without having to lower it.Got a magnetic gray 17" OEM rim off Ebay........then got a 255/65R17 Bridgestone Dueler tire also. Gonna have the tire mounted and balanced and use as a spare. Rim will be here friday.....tire will be here monday!
How do they mount it 'down' Dave?? That valve stem will only go in one way! Sorry, I'm confused!Brian, make sure they mount it with the air valve facing down. This way you can check it periodically without having to lower it.
From the factory the rim is mounted under the truck with the valve stem up towards the bed. It will fit reversed so the valve faces down. How do they mount it 'down' Dave?? That valve stem will only go in one way! Sorry, I'm confused!
Oh he!!.........OK.........that's how I usually mount my spares. Sorry I wasn't gettin it! Must be my bedtime!! Haaaaa! From the factory the rim is mounted under the truck with the valve stem up towards the bed. It will fit reversed so the valve faces down.
Brian, the spare tire hanger is only lightly padded, which is no big deal for the steelie factory spare. When the wheel is flipped with the valve facing down, the hanger will be cinched up against the “good” side of your shiny new wheel. I haven’t found a good solution for additional padding yet (yes, laziness) so mine is still valve side up because I don’t want my nice wheel getting buggered up by the hanger.Oh he!!.........OK.........that's how I usually mount my spares.
