Pictures of Velocity Blue XL 100A! My damper comes tomorrow and my Rostra Cruise Control sometime next week.

Set covers and BedRug next. May try some of those laser fit floor mats too for easier cleanup. Also, the vinyl floor is slippery as hell when your shoes are wet, so I'm definetely going to put something there.

Edit:

Overall Initial Impressions:
1. Trans shifts a bit hard, but it's new and I guess it needs to "learn". Still, feels smoother than my old 01 Ranger.
2. Fit and finish is pretty good overall; however; the front/rear driver side doors don't exactly line up. This is a bit disappointing, but I'll adjust it myself at some point in time (probably only if it leaks lol)
3. Wow, the bed sides are thin. Sheesh!
4. 2.3 Ecoboost POWA. Makes the 3.6 Pentastar in the JK feel like a complete and utter dog (which it kind of is). This engine is lovely to drive. Highway cruising is a pleasure.
5. Ride on stock suspension is surprisingly good! My test drive was on a used 19' since there were no new ones on the lot and this one is a lot better for sure.
6. Front air vents are not in an ideal place to mount my phone. Steering wheel blocks the corner of the screen.
7. Brakes suck. Will be getting forscan and bleeding the breaks. The breaks feel worse than my XJ, and that thing basically has bottle caps for rotors. I will say thats only the "feel" of the brakes. The actual breaking power is completely fine, just awkward brake throw.
8. Its funny and strange that I can remote start, lock, and unlock with my phone but not my key LOL. I don't have a keyfob thing, just a plain Jane key with no buttons or anything.
9. Fordpass is cool! Remote start works, and scheduled start is pretty convenient. I've had the truck for 2 days and I've already used it three times.
10. The 4 speaker 100A sound is not as bad as expected! It's no home theater, but its completely fine playing the radio or audiobooks/podcasts.

I'm very happy with the truck! I love the color, the interior is comfortable, and I'm very happy with my purchase overall. There are a couple small things here and there, but honestly, I'm going to drive the crap out of this truck, use it around my property to haul feed, wood, ect, so it's going to get beat up anyway. I bought the thing to use it.

Nice color! Are you going to get bed liner?

I don’t think so, or maybe later down the road. I’m thinking of doing a BedRug, which is an expanded polypropylene “rug” that goes over the bed. If I do a bed liner some time, I’ll probably just go to the local lineX or LineX depending of which is cheaper

Consider doing LineX and just the BedRug mat. And I wouldn't do BedRug unless you are getting a bed cover. I paid $495 for standard LineX in Virginia.

I will get bedliner from LineX and install a soft cover.

Looked up a picture of this on BedRug’s website, and I dig how it looks! This might be the way!
I’m interested in the BedRug to add some cushion for sitting, kneeling, dog to hang out, etc. They seem to hold up well to wear and tear, and I’m just kind of interested in trying it out.

FWIW, I opted to try a bedrug instead of a liner - I've been very happy with the decision. They really are as tough as they say. I've hauled dirt, barkdust, gravel and lots of firewood in mine. It still looks good. The only negative is that some bark chips can get kind of tangled in the fibers and be a bit hard to remove - but overall I love it - it has provided good protection for the bed and it is WAY easier to kneel in the bed with it. Its been soaked and dries out quickly.

Bed liners are good, but I may be a BedRug convert from now on.....

Exactly why I did the combo.....Line X is great protection, but it is hell on my knees and cargo slides all over the place. The Bed Rug mat cured both of those problems. And no need to secured the mat to the bed using the tape that comes with it. It's not going anywhere if you have a cover.

Sorry I don't get it, why Line X has anything to do with knees?

LineX creates a very hard shell. First time you crawl on it on your knees, you'll know what I mean. Then again, I'm an old fart with old knees. :sunglasses:

The Ford spray in liner is the same. Feels like crawling around on a 30 year old concrete driveway in Michigan.

Ordered 12/2 and confirmed by Ford 12/2 (XLT, FX4, Iconic, Tow Package). Since then, I have heard nothing from Ford other than the canned 45 day emails saying sorry for the wait. No build date, no VIN - NOTHING. Should I be concerned? Seeing many on here who ordered way after me that are getting build dates.

I would be concerned, especially since the 2023 order banks have been closed for over a month now. Was it FORD who confirmed your order or your dealer? In almost 3 months I would have certainly expected at least a VIN by now.

Have you asked your dealer about the situation? and what does he/she say? I am in a similar situation, I ordered in Jan 18, 2023 though.
