My Tremor showed up at dealer in GR two days before tracker showed it shipped

Yup this just happened to me too! Got a text from my salesman that it’s been delivered. They will PDI it and I’ll try to pick it up on Friday.

Oct. 14th: Ordered @4:00pm EST
Oct. 15th: Ford confirmed order.
Dec. 1st: Feb. 6th build date
Jan. 3rd: Feb. 13th build date
Feb. 14th: truck rolled off line approx. 1:45 am
Feb. 15th: Shipped via CSX
Scheduled ETA of today at 7:00pm in Lawrenceville, GA railhead. About 2+ hours from dealership.

Zero clue as to trucking company nor true ETA for final leg to Dalton, GA But the wait is killing me.

Per Ford estimated delivery is Mar. 7 - 13th.

Once it is at the railhead I am going to see if Ford chat will give me the name of the trucking company so I can beg, plead, pester, play pity card, offer bribes, and anything else that comes to mind to get my truck on the hauler. Fingers crossed.

That is fast. Good for you. I ordered in Jan 18th, I have not got the email for build date scheduling yet.

Sort of good lol. I first visited my dealer to “order” in mid August. Put money down and everything, then got a call that the 501a and chrome package wasn’t available to order… Lost contact with my salesman and it turns out he left the dealer! Got in contact with a different salesman and with the service manager which were a big help. After the first of the year those packages were available and my order was able to go through! Now fingers crossed that it eventually gets built!

Has anyone had experience with dealerships trying to mark up the price when they finally get to pick up their truck? When I ordered my truck I was promised the price and APR were locked in. Now that my truck is here, I have asked if price and APR were still locked in and got the reply that they didn't know, it would have to be discussed at signing. They also posted my truck on their website for roughly 3k more than the price I am locked in at. I go in Friday to get it and have a bad feeling things are not going to go well. Is there any course of action I can take if they do try some shady stuff??

Hopefully you have this in writing? I know many dealers tried doing this with the Bronco and some customers walked away because they didn't have it in writing. Also I would call Ford customer care and report the dealer if this happens. Probably won't do any good but "supposedly" Ford was going start going after dealers who were doing this. Good luck!

Ford Chat is useless. The railcar was spotted yesterday at 1:30pm. (Actually 5 1/2 hours early. Must be a record for CSX.) But Ford chat just updated me and said it was on it's way via CSX railcar # blah blah. Had no info yet as to the upcoming trucking company. ?

gimme my truck already.
