Recently I just had all of the bulbs in my 2019 Ranger upgraded to LEDs. They all installed the resistors for the directionals. The blinkers are still doing a fast flash on both directional and hazards.

What is my next option?

Thank you

I believe you will now need to adjust the settings using Forscan.

What do I need to do to do that?
You’ll need a cable that goes from USB to OBD2 - available on Amazon. Then you need to download the software and get a license. Most cheap laptops will run this without any issues.

Search here for the Forscan thread. Great info to get started.

OK, first you are getting the "hyperflash" on the dash but they are flashing properly outside, right? If this is the case "they" installed the resisters wrong. Why do I say this. The hyperflash in the dash is an indication of a bulb burned out, checked by the system seeing the resistance of the curcuit. LEDs have lower resistance than incandecent bulbs so the register as burned out.

This being said. There is a setting, as mentioned, in Forscan in the BCM module under "Front Turn Signal Outage". You need to disable this. If you have a XL model without LED tailights, you may need to also disable the "Rear Turn Signal Outage" also.

Maybe your resistors are installed incorrectly...mine hyper flashed after installing LED front turns bulbs...after resistor install (one per side), normal operation....no Forscan mod needed...

I used the LASFIT Canbus Ready 7443 led bulb 7444 Error Free 7444na Switchback for Front Turn Signal bulbs and there was no hyper flash on the outside or on the dash.

I have an 301a XLT.
Is the procedure different?
I am just gathering information for the guy that installed them.

As far as the resisters I really don’t know first hand. Just what I have read. I have a 302A XLT so my tailights are already LED. When I put my switchbacks in the front, I went into forscan and disabled front bulb outage and did not install resisters.

There are numerous threads on adding LED's and I think the error free ones are what you need, if you know the brand, just use the search bar here and i am quite sure you will find the specific install notes on them. I have the LED taillights as well but installed thses in my front turns and no issues with hyper-flash.

I have had them installed since October, (I think) and no issues. They are bright though, which is good. There is no doubt for other drivers you are turning.
I think there is a video on here of another poster's lights.
I got the recommendation for them from another poster. I do have the Lariat though with my added LED headlight assemblies. (Led Delete-Mess)
The LED Assemblies only use the Turn Signal side of the bulb, the bulb itself is dual filament, but the headlight wiring is only for the turns.
Halo Headlights are wired to utilize both Filaments of the bulb, Park and Turn.
However, it is the same bulb for for Halo & LED Assemblies. (Part # Wise)

i guess i didnt read this thoroughly enough. one reason i purchased these was i wanted to run the park lights as dlrs, and wanted more light. guess i wont be installing. im not very "bright" when it comes to shit like this. they are bright though
