Installed my RCI bed rack today. I love the way it looks. Need to make a slight modification to the top bars. The bolts to mount my tent are 1/8th of an inch from fitting in the slots on the bars. Should be quite an easy fix.

I put in some yellow Hella bulbs in the fogs and high beams. Added some flags my wife got for me and started mapping my wiring for auxiliary and bed lights.
Also got approval got the Softopper.

Came to baja and been having some fun in the dirt. Man I wish I had a long travel, but soon. No mall crawling here.

I just discovered that i do in fact have heated mirrors. Every other veichle I've had had a separate button for them not piggy backing off the rear defrost

My truck needed a very thorough detailing and cleaning since I had not done it for a while. Also while cleaning found a little gift in my tire.

What are the odds of that happening? Better go play the lottery quick! ?

Hi Folks,

I just finished up installing my DrawTite Class 4 Trailer hitch receiver and the very pricey B&W 6" drop hitch. Glad I have a long handle cheater bar on my breaker bar. Breakaway torque was quite an effort on the 4 bolts. Glad the new torque wrench goes up to 250 ft lbs, even though the torque was 146 ft-lbs for the frame to hitch receiver bolts. I did not drop the spare tire...not necessary and my floor jack came in handy to lift the receiver into place. Going to stick to the 4 pin electrical as this will be used around the Flagstaff RV park helping the RV park owner. Will probably try to find the wiring sometime in the future on etrailer.com or Ford via Benny @LevittownFordParts.com.

Love the way B&W stows the three trailer balls out of harms way for your shins.

Hi Folks,

A bit of an update. Since my hitch cost close to $300, it is a desirable piece to steal. The solution was to install a locking hitch pin, but during my research, I found the common locking hitch pin has the lock axial with the length of the pin with a deep groove cut in the pin. Hitch thieves scoff at this as easy to defeat. They take a long pipe of larger diameter than the lock cylinder and snap off the lock with a healthy pull. That is where LetsGoAero design defeats the thief.
A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion....

No place to put that "nut" in the hitch when you have a solid aluminum block for a hitch (Weigh Safe).

Yikes, Phil! I thought I had a pretty secure pin and lock until you posted this. Reviews said biggest problem was corrosion here in salt country but now I have to rethink that. It's heat treated, but still the groove you mentioned can snap there...and I don't have an expensive hitch like yours!
