I just got Falken WildPeak A/T3w 265/70R18 passanger rated tires installed on my truck today. It looks like there is some slight rubbing on the drivers side front crash bar at full lock when it's articulating. The passanger side looks fine. So if you're going to install these and stay stock you might want to see if you can adjust your crash bars before you get them installed. Sorry I didn't get good pics of the tire at full lock. I'll be getting the FP Fox 2.0 Leveling kit installed tomorrow morning.

According to Falken the tires are 32.6" tall and 10.8" wide.

If possible could you post a picture of the driver's side at full lock so we can see where it's rubbing please? I'm curious to see why the driver's side rubs but not the passenger side.

looks really good. Thank you for the info!! I thought diameter of tires at 265/70/18 was 31.6 in, I wonder if I am remembering incorrectly or falken is different? Is that why perhaps there is a slight rub?

EDIT: I was thinking of 270/65/18, sorry. So I guess, completely stock 270/65/18 is best. 1 inch less diameter. Fills up wheel well in width and height.

So I have been wanting to get bigger tires since I bought my Ranger in January 2020 and I finally pulled the trigger. I got flats on two tires running over a board… no it wasn’t on purpose :). Anyway, I do have the Ford performance kit on it and ended up getting the Cooper ATPs 275/65R18s. . I just put 200 miles on them and I love the tires. I haven’t encountered any rubbing yet.

I put 265/65 R18 on mine, not sure I'd go bigger.

I had my LT265/70R18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires installed this morning and then checked the rubbing. At full lock, either left or right, there is no rubbing on the crash bars. That being said, the driver's side does rub on it's way to full right turn lock. Also, at full right turn lock, there is an incremental and uniform rubbing/catching sound. I had a fingertip worth of room at the spindle, so will have to crawl under and check on my next day off to see what it is catching.

It's rubbing on the frame itself, mine rubs there with the same size Falkens. It's so minor and only happens at full lock I'm not even going to bother to do anything about it.

Awesome! Thanks for the information! I thought it sounded awful uniform and the tread would definitely fit the bill!

I am digging that color. Looks so good! If this color would've been an option back when I bought mine it would've definitely given Lightning Blue a run for it's money!

Do the Coopers have a black side of the tire that can be mounted outward? I am not a fan of OWL like the stock Hankooks.
