Hello all!

Looking for options and have some questions before clicking "buy now" anywhere.

2019 - Black on Black Ranger with factory wheels and tires- 265/60- 18.
Looking at a 3.5" Rough Country lift.

Questions:
Can I run a beefier tire on the factory wheel? Or is the offset not enough on the factory wheel. Rough Country's website is recommending a +30mm offset with a 20" wheel. If I can stay away from a new wheel and tire setup that is where I would like to be. However this is the wife's truck and want this to be safe for her and maintain the ride, but she wants a sharp looking truck.

Thanks for any help or any pictures anyone may have running a similar setup. I realize this is a new platform, but maybe I will get lucky.

Thanks,
Rusty

Answered most of my own questions figured I would post for kicks and giggles or if anyone searched for this in the future.

Going to go with a 3" lift from fordrangerlifts.com he is a site sponsor and has amazing reviews.

Keeping the stock tires for another 5k miles then will swap to a 275/65 - 18 and probably a one inch spacer setup just to make sure on clearance. Possibly not needed but the Bora spacers are good insurance.

Ordered the Livernois tune since they are who I purchased the tune for the SHO from. 30k miles on that tune setup with no issues knock on wood.

I will post back with thoughts after installation of both.

I just installed fox 2.0 and and just love it!! I plan on modifying crash bars and installing the kit from BDS, cheap insurance!! Heavy debate between 275 or 285!! I as well debating wheel spacer, but will probably avoid! Good luck and post pic when done!!

Not sure if my experience will help, but, here goes. I did a ReadyLift 3.0 SST lift with 285/60R18's and wheels with an +18 offset. Looked great!! Rubbed in reverse in the left front wheel well only when backing up turn left. Swapped tires to 275/65R18s. Rubbed the same. Installed FabTechs intrusion bars. Still rubbed. Now have 265/60R18's (long story, Conti TerrainCOntact ATs , great tire, quiet). No rubbing.

275/75 R18 Falken Wildpeak tires - (Correct tire size is 275/65 R18) Fat finger typo
3" lift/level from Fordrangerlift.com (Rob is amazing just as an FYI)
Rear and front windows at 20% factory tint left on
Windshield at 50%
Tinted side turn signal
Tuxedo ProX15 cover
Weathertech mats front and rear
Livernois tune

Coming soon: tinted mirror signal and tail lights
Possible Raptor style grille.

Clean truck! Do you feel any rubbing with the 275/75 R18?

275/75R18? They don't look that big? Are they 275/65/R18?

You are very correct sir. I did realize my fat finger typo. Correct up top for information purposes. Thank you for finding that.

I put the same size Duratrac on and they are very close to rubbing on the knuckle. How close do your tires sit and have you had any rubbing?

No rubbing. Clearance is tight but no rubbing.
