John or Steve? ?

My gut says only in 2H but my gut’s not gonna solve Steve’s problem. Where’s Phil when you need him?
Oh my....Spare is to get you out of trouble. The owners manual does not address every instance, like you were Rock Climbing...simply not tested... This is were common sense applies. The spare is not tested as a Road Wheel...it is an emergency tire to get you to help! Just because it looks like a road wheel does not make it so.... The construction of these tires may differ signficantly...not by appearance. Heed the owner's manual...

Okay...a weird back story... Wife and were heading home from Tuson on I 19. There is this F150 loaded up but looks like it is on roller skates. It was on 4 spare tires! Amazing... How the State Police would allow this vehicle to travel south to Mexico is the norm but beyond belief....

The 50 mph mandate does make some sense. Your other tires are wearing, so it's diameter doesn't match the other tires on the truck and that's getting worse everyday. If folks do as you have done, rotate their tires frequently (every 4,000 miles) and include the spare tire in each rotation, then your good to go at highway speeds. Few people do this.

I guess you could put the spare on the right rear... and do a long smoky burnout, then measure the circumference...

But don't use the rear locker like this guy..

Genius! I gotta burn thru my stock Tires so I can upgrade! "Walmart parking lot here I come!"
