yeah, I was one of the first ordersbut I was originally scheduled a month later than people who placed orders 3 weeks after me. People are involved in the process so it’s bound to be imperfect.
This is true.

Algorithms are perfect ;)

Agreed! I was one of the first to order (8/3) and mine has not shipped yet.

Awesome !!!! The thousand dollar upcharge was hard to justify, so I went with Cactus Gray. After seeing your post, I think the thousand dollars was well spent ! Congratulations, what a beauty.
Don't worry, CG cleans up nice!!

My truck should be showing up any day now. Now that orders are arriving is there a post anywhere with a checklist to go over when receiving the truck? I want to make sure I catch any problems at the dealership rather than days later after I've sold my current truck.

Also, what's the deal with ford points? Do we get any based on the purchase price? Anybody using them for accessories? I've got all my essentials ready in the garage, but have been holding off on a few things like a bed mat in hopes that I can use points to buy them. If that's a pipe dream I'll just go ahead and buy the rest of my accessories now.

Also, go team cactus grey! I've been seeing more around and it looks great. I actually wish not so many people were getting it, but having it on a SCAB will make it a little more unique.

The most important thing to check in my mind is the paint. Walk around very slowly and check for chips, scratches or other defects. Once you leave, if you find a chip/scratch, it will be hard to convince them that it was there before you drove off.

As for Ford Points, you'll get 22,000 points for the truck purchase.

Divide the points by 200 and that’s roughly what the dollar value is

I used my points towards a service package of some sort... The first 6 oil changes are included or something.

Saved me 210 bucks.

And they gave me a ranger hat. Lol

Did your guys' points automatically pop up in your FordPass? I see the notification to activate my vehicle to receive the points, but that link is broken and times out. My truck has been added to the app since the day I got it... Might give FordPass CX a call. I wanna kill time at work and browse their selection lol

Mine never populated because they applied my points directly to my purchase... I have no idea how that works... But it did. LoL

@SurfnClimb check body lines, start it up, listen to the motor. Check your tire pressure on the door jam VS what the actual tires are, make sure you got all the accessories you were supposed to get... Keypads, floor mats etc.

As was mentioned above, go over it and look for defects that effect quality of the paint job. It should be Shiney all over no dull spots sounds dumb, but just walk around and give it a once over you'll see if there are issues. I have a paint nib by the rear passengers side window. Nothing major to fuss over. The ppf on the drivers side rear wheel well is wrinkled at the bottom, and my hvac fan makes a strange whistle when it's on high... I'll swing into the dealer one day and have them look at it....

Just a heads up. Around here the Ford service package ( “The works” ) doesn’t include checking any transmission, t/case or front/rear diff fluid levels. I would ask to be sure at your location
