Took a closer look and it appears itās on the base MSRP of the truck 39,945 vs 40,945. Could be a Lariat thing I suppose, or maybe yours got in before an increase haha.My MSRP didn't change. Maybe a Tremor thing (mine is an XLT)? What about Price Protection...doesn't that cover you?

Iāll ask my guy about any kind of price protection. Iām sure if it can it will be applied, but Iām not sure how that works with base pricing, think thatās more to ensure one gets the promotions/rebates when they ordered. But you hear this and that like everything else in the Matrix.
I know they started doing a thing for the converted Bronco orders where they give one of two possible credit amounts based on when you ordered to help offset the new higher pricing.
In any case Iām just happy itās moving along and sooner than I had envisioned when ordered. Probably a long shot but last I was told it still showed a potential 12/24 delivery; fingers crossed for a Ranger under the tree!
I think it is safe to assume 99.9% of dealers will try to screw their customers out of price protection.I wonder how many dealers aren't going to let their order customers know about price protection, and how many will get suckered into paying more than what it was when they ordered.
I wouldn't have....which is why I have this forum to thank for educating me!And I would wager 50% of buyers won't know any better.
I hadnāt! Well, not to that detail at least. In case you haven't seen this...........
