I am not, I have purchased 5 Ford's from Jannell in MA for less than invoice (Not including rebates). The difference between MSRP and Invoice is not as big as it used to be. There was a time when invoice on the base price was about 10% less than MSRP and 15% for the options. Today it is closer to 5%.Are we confusing MSRP with invoice? They are quite different aren't they?
that a place is an hour from me.I spend time off and on in New England...Check out Ira Ford in Auburn MA. They were offering orders for $500 over invoice earlier this year on 5G Ranger orders (at the time, about $1200 below MSRP for a 4wd Lariat Super Crew). You may want to contact them and see what they say.
FWIW, there are only a hand full of states that don't have a sales tax and Mass's sales tax is pretty typical.Problem with Masshole is what ever savings you get from the dealer the State takes back in sales taxes! I think mine was 2.2K in taxes when it was all said and done. With all the incentives at the time I got mine it was like 3.7K off MSRP
shh don't tell them that, they like to feel special. When i first moved to Massachusetts every one complained about high taxes, and high medical insurance etc,. yet compared to NY my taxes, and medical insurance went down.FWIW, there are only a hand full of states that don't have a sales tax and Mass's sales tax is pretty typical.
