Since you'll likely be ordering the new generation, I seriously doubt you'll pay less than MSRP....maybe more. Just my opinion.

I spend time off and on in New England...Check out Ira Ford in Auburn MA. They were offering orders for $500 over invoice earlier this year on 5G Ranger orders (at the time, about $1200 below MSRP for a 4wd Lariat Super Crew). You may want to contact them and see what they say.

I have bought 5 new vehicles from Jannell in Hanover MA and all of the were below invoice. My 21 Ranger was $1000 below invoice in August 21.

Are we confusing MSRP with invoice? They are quite different aren't they?

I would wait as long as you can. with inflation and interest rates I am guessing by mid summer they will be hungry for sales and will be more apt to negotiate.

remember ford wants everyone to order and wait 4-6 weeks for their vehicle. you can start planning but i wouldn't do a serious look until early spring and see what is shaken out over the cold winter.

I am not, I have purchased 5 Ford's from Jannell in MA for less than invoice (Not including rebates). The difference between MSRP and Invoice is not as big as it used to be. There was a time when invoice on the base price was about 10% less than MSRP and 15% for the options. Today it is closer to 5%.

Problem with Masshole is what ever savings you get from the dealer the State takes back in sales taxes! I think mine was 2.2K in taxes when it was all said and done. With all the incentives at the time I got mine it was like 3.7K off MSRP

FWIW, there are only a hand full of states that don't have a sales tax and Mass's sales tax is pretty typical.

shh don't tell them that, they like to feel special. When i first moved to Massachusetts every one complained about high taxes, and high medical insurance etc,. yet compared to NY my taxes, and medical insurance went down.

but massholes like to feel like they are special snowflakes who pay more than everyone else.

Currently in NH, and while no state income tax is nice, my property taxes are 2.5 times compared to Massachusetts, which in real world dollars is 75% of what I was paying in mass state income tax.

tack on the extra high regulatory fees NH imposes and it is close to a wash. go out to eat in NH and it is a 10% eating out tax, then the 20% tip.

you will pay close to the same no matter where you go. just depending on who you are paying
