I’m confused, can I change my order? It’s been accepted, but not scheduled.
We can still make some changes. If you go from crew cab to single cab or from XLT to Lariat you would lose your price protection. If it is add or delete a single line item option, then it should not change anything. Once a VIN is assigned, we cannot edit anything.

How about adding 4 wheel drive?

Quick question, so my dealer emailed me saying my order has been scheduled for production but no email from Ford yet. Does the dealer usually get notified first? They told me if I want to make any changes, do it now. I have not received the VIN yet.

Yes, the dealer gets the info first. I'm impressed your dealer bothered to let you know as many don't. Fords emails to customers is sketchy at best these days. Congrats on the new Ranger, and welcome to the forum.

Sometimes you won't receive an email if it wasn't submitted correctly by your dealership it could have gone to spam as well. But the email timing should be the same for you and the dealership.

Hi Zach. Fingers crossed you get June Ranger allocations so my order can go to scheduled. We just adopted a horse yesterday, so now I really need a truck that can pull a horse trailer ;)

Also, hope you will extend the $50 over cost on ESP to those of us are waiting on orders even if you choose not to have that in place past May 31.

May have to change my name, lol - new houseOfDogsAndOneHorse

We received enough allocation this month to cover all of our outstanding orders. This will happen IF commodity restraints don't hold any back.

Hooray, hopefully I don't run into any commodity restraints, the wait is killer!

If anyone is on the fence, not only is @Zach@granger offering a pretty good price in this market, I offer this example of how they are a good dealer, especially compared to some of the questionable interactions some members have had with other dealers.

My girlfriend's Explorer arrived. Granger wanted a week to do the DPI and get it ready. They found imperfections that I think other dealers wouldn't have or would've hidden, sent photos, and are sending it to the body shop to repair. This is how it's supposed to work. Very happy with the entire interaction with Granger.

You absolutely correct. Most all the other dealers would have just given you the car, and hope you didn't see the boo-boos. Congrats to your GF.

I told her most would've probably tried to hide it with scratch compound and then when she washed it, she would've assumed it happened after she picked it up. She was skeptical about ordering from a dealer so far away but feeling better about it everyday.

Thanks for the opportunity to order the vehicle! We have seen more damage lately unfortunately and I appreciate the patience so we could get this fixed for you.
