Looking for PDR recommendations.

Watch those roads folks. Even with traction control, shit happens.

Driving on the highway, hydroplaned, spun, was unable to recover, hit a palm tree, and went into the marsh, rolling a couple of times. Between airbags and seatbelts, my injuries are minor. The truck did an awesome job of keeping me safe.

Any chance you have the Bridgestone Duellers? I had a version of those tires stock on my 2016 Forester XT and they were very unsafe in the rain. No idea why they were put on a Subaru that is marketed for inclement weather.

Glad you walked away. Now you get to pick out a new truck.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
Glad you're OK, I hit standing water on black ice in Germany once and went for a ride, lucky a small hill stopped me. Scary feeling when all of a sudden you have zero traction!

I see there is a bigger body of water there! Thankfully you didn't end up in that!

Sorry for your loss of your Ranger but glad to hear you didn't sustain major injuries.

Wow Kevin glad you're ok. Vehicles can easily be replaced lives can not. I've said it in many threads now these Rangers and Ford vehicles in general have great safety features and most who are in wrecks come out ok.

They were Bridgestone. Unsure of the model right off the top of my head. It was still the original stock tires.

For sure! I haven't been in a lot of situations like this, but this is the first I was unable to recover.

Low tide. At high tide, I would have been in that.

I re-read your thread title and did a spit take. I mean, thanks for the laugh and all, but holy cannoli!
Easy to joke about stuff that doesn't kill you.

Passenger cabin looks like it held up well and the A-pillars too.
The cabin was perfect, other than airbag deployment. My R7 came off the windshield. The dash cam stayed on the windshield. I'll pull the video and maybe post it. See how many "Fucks" I let out during the whole thing. And, confirm whether it rolled once or twice. Either way, it was in soft marsh, which is why I think everything held up so well and the window glass didn't break. All doors are still functional even.

I hope they don't try to repair it, though. It'll never be the same. And, it'll take forever.

That's crazy, must have been wild to be rolling over and over like that. Glad you're ok.

With the mangled frame in the front I'd say no way they'd repair it. But you never know what these guys will try these days.
