I'm kinda in a similar place. I started considering it towards the end of 2019, then, well, things happened.

I was sent to work remote, and didn't know if my role would survive so we cut back on a lot and I limped my subi along. . . now I no longer change the oil, it leaks out the bottom of the motor at ~1/2 a week. . . LOL I just top it off every couple of weeks.

Argh!

yeah, it is frustrating - but it is what it is. . . and it could always be worse - they could cancel my order. LOL

501A is not an available option for the 2023 Ranger due to constraint components. Check our page 34 and 35 of this thread, previous members were talking about it.

I ordered Aug 15th and got the notification as well. Ford loves to dangle the carrot. I feel like they did this the last time too- wait until about 7 days before the first build date is schedule, and bam, push it back again.

I wonder if it's because they're trying to finish a bunch of 22 trucks, or constraints....

Let me know when your build dates catch up with mine. I’m still holding out hope that your delays won’t lead to a delay for me, but I’ve never been good at optimism.

I guess the good news is this gives me more time to plan all of that money I’m gonna waste once the truck arrives.

curious - how much time passed between the time you got a confirmation from Ford and any other kind of communication (initial scheduling)?

I spent over an hour last night comparing bed covers, caps and drawers...

Trying to find the best combination for our lifestyle... LOL I really like the diamondback covers, with the yakima upright, but for the price I might as well buy a full truck cap solution... Not to mention the price was nearly 10% of the trucks price... And that's just insane to me...

I ordered a plain 4x4 XLT SCab Velocity Blue with tow package and so far haven't got the pushed back to later email. So far I'm still on for the week of 10/24 - as far as I know.

Plot twist, Ford monitors this forum and as soon as you post anything even remotely close to excitement they push your build date back a week.
