  1. Does anyone make a soft shell clam RTT?

I haven’t seen one and I spent months this past fall searching for my RTT.
  2. Full Commitment to Ranger Build

Not only are you experiencing the brand debate, you’re also having a pickup vs SUV debate. IMO, which type of vehicle will meet your needs is more important than the brand.
  3. BOOM!!! 2022 Jeep Gladiator is the only midsize pickup truck on the Consumer Reports most unreliable list

Yeah, I know the JT has rear coils. It also has a live front axle which makes it uncomfortable for CR writers. CR has a long history of hating on the Wrangler so it’s no surprise the Gladiator would be a target of their bitching. They judge all trucks by some car comfort standard that leaf...
  4. BOOM!!! 2022 Jeep Gladiator is the only midsize pickup truck on the Consumer Reports most unreliable list

I wouldn’t consult CR for a truck purchase. Notice anything about their top 3 recommended “trucks”? Yep, you guessed it, 2 are unibody and 1 is a coil spring rear. Their definition of a truck is something that won’t splash their latte when they hit a pot hole. I’d take the Gladiator over their 3...
  5. Extreme wait times for orders?

Well those of us that ordered from ShrockWorks certainly have. I just received parts (not ShrockWorks) for my Jeep today that I ordered on Black Friday. In 2020, it took over 4 months for a some other Jeep parts
  6. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Installed the UPR oil catch can on the ’23 today. The tamper-proof crankcase vent hose fittings were a PITA but everything else was a breeze.
  7. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Well I finally got around to picking up the ranger that I ordered on Aug 4. It arrived to the dealer on Dec 15 but I had already left the state for the holidays. It’s nice to have it sitting in the garage waiting for all the goodies that I purchased on Black Friday. Guess I’ll be busy tomorrow.
  8. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Mine went into production 11/17, built 11/20. Arrived at dealer on 12/15. I’ll pick it up next week. What’s all that mean? There’s no rhyme or reason. Good luck.
  9. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Those automated emails are not gospel. If you scroll back in this thread a little, you’ll see I received one announcing a delay. The next day I received a notification it was at the dealer’s. Go figure.
  10. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

My dealer just contacted me as well to tell me it’s arrived. Too bad I won’t be back in the state until after Christmas. Maybe they’ll sell it and I get to start the process all over again.
  11. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

So I wake up to this. First thing that went through my head was Cousin Eddie. “That’s something ain’t it, huh? She falls in a well, eyes go crossed. She gets kicked by a mule, they go back to normal. I don’t know!”
  12. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

More than likely the leak is located higher than suspected. You can look for flaws in weather stripping but it’s obviously a job for the dealer. Most places will hose it down to locate the leak but there’s some cool ultra sound tools that can pinpoint the leak without getting everything wet...

Water or coolant? Experience rain or use the A/C lately?
  14. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Not cruel at all. Joking about this is keeps me interested in the process. A ship would’ve been preferred since I live next to the 5th largest port in the country. I’m out of the state for Christmas anyway so I’m not missing the truck. Not exactly true. I would’ve preferred to take the Ranger on...
  15. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Not just my satisfaction, but my “complete satisfaction” lol. That ship sailed in October when the sent the first delay message.
  16. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Chat can’t help me now, just received this lol. On a brighter note, I have an ‘05 LJ and 99 XJ
  17. Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Yeah, I wish it was under 3 weeks as well. Order confirmed on 8/4. Built on 11/20. It’s been in “shipped” status since then.
  18. Rearview Cameras Active When Driving

I use NAVTV in my 2019 F350. Basically it befuddles the GPS to provide camera selection while in motion. If you use their product, I recommend the ground switch (in their instructions) to select when you want to activate it. Otherwise using your blinker for an extended period of time will...
