Has anyone with a tremor experienced any kind of droning/vibration noise throughout the cabin while driving at highway speeds between 50-60mph. It’s not a tire, alignment, or balance issue. Happened with stock 265 general. Put on 285 nittos and no change. Trying to get into ford but taking forever. Happened since new. Only 1200 miles now.

It's a very common issue unfortunately. Noticed my 21 Ranger doing it the 2nd week of ownership. It's hard to duplicate and happens intermittently on mine, especially over 60mph. There are TSB 's for it with mixed results. 2 piece driveshaft seems to be culprit. There's loads of threads on this issue to read if u want here. Hopefully it will settle down after the break in period once over 3k miles or so. Sometimes it is butter smooth and sometimes it comes with a furry.

Hi Eric,

Adjust your tire pressures to the door label. It might help....

Best,
Phil

I thought Tremors had CV joints on the drive line and were not affected by the drive shaft vibrations?

Regardless mine vibrates like crazy at highway speeds every time.

There is a group of them with a TSB for front diff issues. My 22' has that same thing and falls under the serial number range, but just haven't gotten it in yet.

My 21 does it at low speed, 15-25 mph.

21 Tremor here and no vibration or droning. Very smooth and quiet for a truck so far.

I have heard about this TSB several times on this forum but cannot find any information on it. Do you have a TSB # or any additional info?

my truck makes a noise i cant track down.. happens at lower speeds. it sounds like it is in the mid ship / front area. its definitely something under the truck and not in the cab. for thousands of miles ive ignored it thinking it was the bow shackle in the trailer hitch bouncing around. last week took out the hitch and the noise was still present. its a metallic sound sort of a clunk. no vibrations or shakes in the cabin. truck is actually pretty tight for how many off road miles i have. reading over the ssm Steve posted im starting wonder if my mystery noise is related to front axle issues. I hope not. i despise having to take anything to a ford dealer esp. if its warranty related.

My 2022 Tremor is currently at the dealer for vibration issues. 7100 miles on it. It was built in February and axle serial number is 22039 so two below the suspect range. They had their NVH on it yesterday and are saying tires. They are going to check balance this morning. I or they haven’t brought up the SSM yet. Mine was really smooth up until about a 5000 miles. Rotated at 5400 and it seems to be getting more prevalent. We’ll see what they say today.

i hope it is good news and they get things fixed up and back on the road. my gut says they will jerk you around and say its tires or tire pressure or whatever they can point fingers at.

They already admitted that pressures were spot on ((39 psi). And that they were wearing perfectly. No visible damage to them either. At least they acknowledged the vibration. My gut says they check fine for balance but I hope I’m wrong.
