Yes it is in the module but nothing Forscan can’t fix. Well for now anyways. Pretty soon the factory will passcode our rides so we can manipulate anymore. Brings back memories of the first time I jailbreaked my iPhone.Not to be that guy, but ACKSHUALLY... Doesn't the Ranger already have a speed limiter? Can't find teh reference right now, but I seem to remember reading it somewhere. And it's something like 115 mph or so. I may be mistaken.
But over-the-air update? No. Not for this vehicle. Gotta plug in the programmer to change something like that. Reflashing the ECM would be the only way to change the limiter setting (unless it's buried somewhere in the NVM settings that Forscan can change).
