Ford Pass update has killed it

Told me to update a couple of days ago and now nothing works, remote start, tire pressure monitoring, oil life etc and I get an annoying message every time I open it asking me to share driving data - anyone else experiencing issues?

No problem here. I just used mine this morning to remote start.

I have automatic app updates turned off, I recommend you do the same, I’ve read the app reviews and most of them are nightmares…sorry it happened to you. Hopefully it fixes itself.

I had trouble accessing The owner’s manual a few days ago but all works fine now.

I have automatic updates turned on and have never had an issue with Ford Pass. If I happen to do a master reset on Sync in the truck I will need to relink Ford Pass to my truck but that is not a Ford Pass issue.

Delete the app and reinstall.

It works for me except of the fact that it has ALWAYS showed the location of my Ranger as Detroit. I have yet to find any way to change that. Any ideas?

Well, it won't change the app, but you could relocate a little east and north... Then the app would at least be accurate (most of the time).

Last few days when mine loads up it says "Add Vehicle " "Garage Empty" for a short while , then my truck appears like normal...

I just fired mine up and no noticeable difference. Layout is different once again. There is a map tab that wasn’t there before. When I tap on that it’s showing the exact location of my truck and when it updated.

It was so long ago that I set all this up I cannot recall how I got the map location to work or if it happened automatically. There might be something in Sync settings for this as well so really look around in there.

Thanks! I did find in a past thread where someone said Ford had dropped the location feature. So, if that is true, I'm out of luck. ?
