Ford Pass update has killed it

They did say decades ago that they were going to metric like it or not! ?

When I tried to change it back the app locked up ?

I quit and restarted the app and only the miles changed.

But I was able to get back to psi, pounds, etc. after the restart.

Maybe they were giving me a nudge?

It works for me except of the fact that it has ALWAYS showed the location of my Ranger as Detroit. I have yet to find any way to change that. Any ideas?

move to Detroit then its always right!

Thanks! I did find in a past thread where someone said Ford had dropped the location feature. So, if that is true, I'm out of luck. ?

When I got my truck last year it said it was in Michigan even though I was in west coast BC. Salesman had no clue how to fix it. I did find it somewhere in settings - but I can’t recall where. So it is buried in there. I was trying to find the instructions I sent to the sales guy after I found how to correct it - was trying to help the poor guys out - he was new to sales. But I couldn’t find it. I think there is a locations setting in sync somewhere. Sorry best I could come up with but it’s there.

As for the app - works fine after the update The only complaint I have is that the lock/unlock feature does not consistently work in any version. Drives my spouse crazy when I walk back a block to make sure my truck is locked cause I couldn’t do it remotely.

My app seems fine but today I got the annoying "don't forget your baby in the back seat" alert. I have a SCAB and turned that off months ago. Maybe the truck got an update or maybe those warnings have to be opted out of from time to time.

Gonna check the app now, not sure when it last had an update ... thanks for the heads up!

You need to turn on the location stetting in Sync. Not sure exactly where it is, but once you enable it, the app gets updated with the truck’s location.

Ah, so it sounds like an update. I think, on my XL, the setting to turn it off is through the settings menu in the older Sync system in the radio screen.

mine does this also, my truck has never "moved" from the delivery lot lol. fine by me. more than enough tracking already.

I had trouble accessing The owner’s manual a few days ago but all works fine now.

I got that too, the other day.I think it pops up periodically. Like every three months? Six months?
