What gas are you filling up with?Nope, not trolling. 13.8 per the truck lie-o-meter. 13.9 hand calculated over 6 months. Bumper to bumper, stop light to stop light. I granny drove it for a few weeks and was barely mid-14's. Took a 4 hour road trip and averaged about 20 MPG at 75 MPH.
Average spend on gas for this truck over the past 6 months was $513 per month. Whether you believe it or not makes no difference to me, my wallet felt it. Same commute in my 2016 F150 Platinum with the 3.5l EcoBoost was 18 MPG. Driving my wife's AWD Tiguan for that same drive was 24 MPG.
Took the Ranger in twice to the local dealer, told both times that nothing was coming up.
Maybe where you live...Energy costs are about to go up 40%, while gas is coming down, good luck.
in what ways.... towing and that's about it. And sadly Tesla is nowhere near the best in town let alone the only game in town...Beats having a tesla
I have been seeing mileage like this too. If I do a lot of city driving, I will be in the upper 16 - low 17 mpg range. Add some highway I'll be in the 18's. Do a lot of highway, I'll be in the 19's to @ 20 mpg. My commute to work is @ 7 miles. For mpg, the Ranger does not seem to like that.Mine's been just under 17 mpg (16.7-16.9), but I pretty much only do short trips (less than 5 miles), however, I do drive like a granny. Only ever got above 18 on a 43 minute trip at 40 mph.
I'll wait to see what I get if I ever take it out for over a 100-mile trip.
But it is worse MPG than I initially expected ...
I ain't gonna lie.i think id try and get all my pennies together and get the rivian that thing is sweet for a ev and it fits my life style with offroading and exploring but at the same time 90k or more nah nah
The gas may not be coming down for long...Energy costs are about to go up 40%, while gas is coming down, good luck.
god, if only I spent hours each evening in a state where I didn't need to driveTesla super chargers cost 10K. You knew that right? A regular charger at home is around $400 but they take hours to charge. Think wiring has to be 20 amp too
Me too. Was actually looking at them again this AM.I ain't gonna lie.
I'm a bit of a R1T fanboi.
Right. They don't need maintenance, until they do. Then Wham! there goes the bank!Well, EV’s have no maintenance, so I guess he will. There’s lots of sarcasm here ?
