I went out into the garage yesterday to do a little more tinkering on the new Ranger and discover the battery was dead. I guess you can't leave these sit for two weeks??

So, today I installed permanent wiring with to the battery so I can connect a battery maintainer without opening the hood.

Removed the factory plastic covering from the touch screen and installed a screen protector.

And the last thing for today.....I ordered a Leer hf650m hard folding tonneau cover. (four panel)
Hey Neil - I may have already said this on another thread, but you will love the Leer HF650M. I have it, and love that it is 4 panel and does not lean against the cab when opened.

Doing more Overland Expo East prep, I had decided to add some carpet tiles on the floor of my CVT rooftop tent. I planned on removing the factory mattress since I purchased a roll up/inflatable one from Amazon. Being home due to Hurricane Ian, I picked up the tiles from Home Depot, and installed them today under windy conditions.

On top of wanting a softer floor instead of the hard fiberglass(?), I’ve seen a few videos where people install these to help with condensation. One case was more than enough to cover the entire floor and left me with some scraps I’ll probably toss inside a couple of my tool drawers.

Post install beer: SixPoint Brewing Resin, Double IPA

Hey, you’re a local now. Doesn’t mean we can do some exploring of Ocala National Forest now that the weather is getting better.

You have 365 days to prep for Overland Expo East 2023!

hell yes! And if you find yourself making plans to get out to Ocala, let me know ahead of time if you don't mind a tag-along. I haven't been out exploring anything in my Ranger since I moved from GA. :(

Thank you! I went from Pizza Cutters to bigger and wider. ha! I really like the way it looks now. I've done too much to the appearance for the skinnies, IMO.
Agreed! The wider and larger tires make it look more planted and even a bit more aggressive. It ain’t no toy, it’s a truck for hard work and hard play!

Thanks to @Discount Tire, I had some 285/75r17 tires installed. Looks so good!
nice same tire specs as I have shoot same wheels I had at first too. mine dropped to 12 miles per gallon when changed to that spec. if you haven't already made changes to pcm in tire size do so asap helps a ton. love it you got balls to drill into the fender and it looks good.

I assume you used spacers for clearance being on factory wheels? If so, what size?

The stance looks great. Also, obviously your front bars are gone, what about the rears?

Not giving up my pizza cutters anytime soon, but this looks really good. Perhaps it's the lack of "dish" on the factory wheels that keeps it from looking overly "broish."

Which tire did you go with?
