Dude!! So what happens when these trucks go on lifts???? The tires and axles or front axles, 2wd 4x4 , etc just hang from the truck! Oh well, glad you found the problem. Maybe it was the jarring shock of the bounce, who knows?

Before and after pics.
The bed cover installs like crap! Really? Thats the best it can fit? Oh well, used ford points and it will help my tailgate from getting really scratched up.

And of course
The tailgate strut assist re-install!!!

removed the front air dam. screw the potential drop in mpg, the truck just looks better with it off. i like being able to see more of the tread on the tires. thanks to the op of this writeup. not sure i would have been able to figure out how to get the 3 middle bolts out without it.
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/front-air-dam-removed.7562/

and put on the go rhino exhaust tip. originally was going to put some kind of turndown underneath (had the mbrp turndown catback on my raptor) but this looks so good i will go with it for awhile. and i think it gave me a 3-4 hp increase.
Hey Phil, if you get tired of that gap between the valance and the skid plate, you can mod the old air dam to close the gap - and you get a free t-shirt if you post pics of the mod.

Check out the thread I started a while back…..

usually the shock limits it before every other component, my problem here is the icon leave have a certain amount of flex plus the shackles I added, added additional flex then the shocks added more flex/ travel which made the brake lines and electrical lines the shortest part of the equation. if you lift your truck you'll notice all though you've gone through all the travel you still have a good amount of slack in all those rear lines.

Ah makes sense but also what’s forscan lol
just a quick link I found. for how much it costs and the ability to trouble shoot makes it an amazing tool. I think I paid 33 on Amazon and another 12 for full 1 year registration, but you can register for free it just sets some limits I believe.

used Forscan to fix the ranger also changed the parameters for tire circumference, Bambi mode, turned on and off auto feature welp I think overall for the cost it was worth buying forscan and a laptop I think it still cost less than the stealerships. and since I had fun with ranger did Bambi mode and puddle light on the wifes expi.

yea pretty much can change a ton of settings. if you can read you and follow simple written directions you can enable and disable many functions. some functions also need additional modules to be purchased like global windows and auto folding mirrors but can be programed in once installed.
